Well here is my very first 'true' post on my blog. As you read this you will notice how varied and seemingly incomplete it will be as I am new to this. As time passes and I do this more often I am sure I will become a better writer, person, and hopefully friend and Christian.
Life is hectic. My major, Ecology, require me to take many science classes that are a joy and a curse to take. Sometimes I feel like I will never be able to crawl out from under my growing mountain that is my studies, but somehow I always manage to.
Went to church for the first time this school year. I know, I know, sad. I just have not had the time until now. Well thats a lie, I have had the time I just wanted to use that time for sleep and homework. But alas, I woke up at 8:00am and went to Mars Hill and ended up getting more homework done then I could have if I slept in! Mar Hill was interesting. I am not sure how I feel about this mega church deal and I don't know why. What I can say though is that I did feel closer to God that day, enjoyed the sermon, and loved the music. Next Sunday I might go back again or try All Saints or Bethany Heights. Not sure, only time will tell.
I plan on reading the Book of Ruth in the coming week and spending time looking over it. I read it once a long time ago and have memories of enjoying it a great deal.
Life is going. It has its ups and downs, but overall its been good. I am truly blessed to be here at SPU. My life has changed a great deal. New surroundings, friends, family, places, ideas, and experiances have come my way and I am thanking God for every single one of them.
Well I must be off. Loads of homework to do for this week, God bless.
